Maddux Park is located in the west side of town by the intersection of 9th Street and Park Street. Maddux Park features a shelter house, bathrooms, playground area, dirt hill, skate park, and a meandering ¼ mile sidewalk through the 3.5-acre park that makes for an excellent walking path.

The shelter house is near the playground area, it has two picnic tables and a grill, but does not feature electricity.

The skate park is perfect for skateboards, roller blades or bicycles. It features several rails & ramps, and a basketball goal on the south edge of the skate park.

The dirt hill is a big hit year round. A nearby water hydrant is great for setting up water slides and of course any hill is good for sledding in the winter.
