Patton Park (formerly City Park) is located in the 1200 block of south Main Street (Highway 83).Patton Park resides on 3 acres and features a shelter house, bathrooms, and Park on the Plains playground (dedicated 12-5-09). Patton Park is located near several restaurants making it an excellent spot for a carryout picnic at one of the many picnic tables.

The shelter house is right next to the playground and has electrical outlets for roasting pans, coffee makers, portable stereos, or any other device needed for a good family picnic or business party at the park. A grill and a drinking fountain are near the shelter house.

The Park on the Plains playground was built in the fall of 2009 by volunteers from the community using funds raised by the community. It is an improvement over the older equipment, much of which was saved and moved to Maddux & Palmer Parks.
